The lookout tower in Kalvträsk

The adventure to the top begins at the mill pond in Kalvträsk. Take the Avabergsleden which follows the Holmträsket lake up to the Holmsundpassagen, from there the raft trail continues along the Stenselet lake up to Sagoön which is at the foot of the Vitberget. A visit to the top of the mountain is recommended. There you are at an altitude of 500 meters and if you climb up the old fire tower that has been restored to a lookout tower, you have another 20 meters up and come above the treetops. The view you are greeted with is incredible and together with a sunrise from this place is a fantastic experience. Summer as winter.
